Booking Terms
Last updated: 28 July 2026
1. Booking & confirmation
You can check availability and book directly through NightsBridge, our online booking partner, via any “Reserve Stay” button on this site — this opens their secure booking engine in a new tab. You’re also welcome to enquire first via WhatsApp, phone or email, and we’ll help you check dates and book. A booking is only confirmed once you receive confirmation from NightsBridge, or directly from us if you booked that way — an enquiry alone does not hold your dates.
2. Rates, deposit & payment
Rates, the deposit amount and the payment schedule for your dates are set out by NightsBridge and shown to you there before you complete payment — these can vary by season and length of stay, so we don’t quote a fixed figure here. If you book directly with us instead of through NightsBridge, we’ll confirm the rate, deposit and payment schedule with you in writing before your booking is considered secured.
3. Cancellations
Cancellation terms are shown to you by NightsBridge at the time of booking, and form part of your agreement with them. If you booked directly with us, get in touch as soon as your plans change and we’ll do what we reasonably can to help, including rebooking your dates where possible.
4. Check-in & check-out
Check-in and check-out times will be confirmed with you directly ahead of your stay. Please let us know your expected arrival time so we can be ready to welcome you.
5. House rules
- Knusrus sleeps up to 12 guests across four king/queen rooms and a bunk room — please keep to the confirmed number of guests for your booking.
- No smoking indoors.
- No parties or events — this is a residential area and we ask guests to be considerate of neighbours.
- Pets are welcome on request only — please check with us before bringing a pet.
- Guests are responsible for any damage caused to the property or its contents during their stay beyond normal wear and tear.
6. Liability
Knusrus is close to the beach and ocean, and guests use the outdoor terraces, living areas, beach and surrounding coastline at their own risk. To the fullest extent permitted by South African law, Knusrus Coastal Residence is not liable for any injury, loss or damage arising from your stay, except where the law does not allow such liability to be excluded — for example, in the case of gross negligence on our part.
7. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa, including the Consumer Protection Act, 68 of 2008, where applicable. Any booking made through NightsBridge is also subject to NightsBridge’s own terms of use for their platform.
8. Questions
If anything here is unclear, message us on WhatsApp at +27 77 356 8386 or email knusrusdaytona@gmail.com — we’re happy to talk through the details before you book.
